The Dog from Ipanema was founded 21 years ago. It's founder had
a simple goal: to provide high quality services to dogs and cats in a
clean and respectfull environment. The open, colorful and clean space
attracted newscasters from around the world. The doors to "The Dog" opened up in August of 1986 to a doggie by the name of "Scandal", a Chow/Lhasa mix.
Among it's many firsts, The Dog from Ipanema always welcomes owners that want to stay with their "babies" during the grooming sessions, all that it takes is an appointment!
The acceptance of owners during the grooming sessions demonstrate the pride that our team members have on their training.
